CM 2103 onward MS will start phasing out old-style extension implementation and make them centralized.

  1. Can you help with what changes have to be made to console extensions so that they come through notifications (similar to Web2View) and reflect on the centralized dashboard?
For the current extension we can disable the hierarchy setting manually (is there any other way?) and then we can see extensions on CM 2103. But they are not coming on the centralized dashboard on CM at Administration > Overview > Updates and Servicing > Console Extensions.
    .
  2. What is the ETA for MS to phase out the old implementation style for console extensions?
  3. Does MS support plugins to Endpoint manager, if yes can you please help yes with related documents.

Here's the full doc for console extensions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/servers/manage/admin-console-extensions

Console extensions must be created by the author to be compliant with the new capability. If you have an extension that is not, please contact the author.

Old style extensions are now deprecated but not actual removal date has been announced, details at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/plan-design/changes/deprecated/removed-and-deprecated-cmfeatures#deprecated-features.
