I have the hardest time getting the properties for a control in the Properties window. I click on the XAML for controls and nothing. I have to click on multiple controls before VS decides to show properties. I am using VS 2022 and it has been like this since the install so it is not an update of the IDE problem.

Hi, how you open the properties window? Could you share us some steps or screenshots?
You can also try to reset the vs settings by simply going over to Tools > Import and Export settings > Reset all settings.
It is happening on all XAML pages. Once it gets the properties for a control it seems to be better at getting properties but will revert to not getting them. I often have to close the XAML window and reopen it to get the properties.
Did you also try selecting the element in XAML, then pressing <F4>?
I am not seeing this issue. Is this happening on all xaml pages or just one?
