Hi all,

I have just found that the sync process is broken for me when using a Microsoft account (hotmail) on a Windows 10 pc joined to a Windows Active Directory Domain.

This is what I see when running the command edge://sync-internals/

On a Windows 10 pc on same network but AAD joined it works as expected.

Throw into the mix using a M365 account, on the Windows 10 pc joined to the same Windows Active Directory domain, I get this

I have tried on a different network and still see the same issue. If I remove the computer from the domain, it works fine. Join it back, and it breaks again..

    Hi @Brad Morris

Here're 2 possible solutions for you:

    1. Make sure you didn't clear cookies on closing the browser. Go to Settings --> Privacy, search, and services --> Clear browsing data --> Choose what to clear every time you close the browser --> Uncheck "Cookies and other site data" (if checked).
    2. You can whitelist "https://edge.activity.windows.com" or "https://edge-enterprise.activity.windows.com" on local DNS resolver.

For more detailed information about Edge sync issues, you can go through this doc carefully.

If the issue remains unsolved, you can do a sync reset in Settings --> Profiles --> Sync --> Reset sync.
Also, you can check out whether you have Edge policies that may prevent syncing. Go to edge://policy/ to see the Policies page.
