Will Exchange CDO patch affect Free/Busy information?

Q: From a previously answered question it would appear that the Exchange CDO patch effects calendar free/busy information? I thought it only effected OWA calendaring. Can you confirm this?
A: CDO patch should not impact directly Free/busy, as free/busy is dependant upon MAPI32. Please refer to www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/2003/insider/providers.mspx

The way it could impact it is if Free/Busy information is accessed via CDO (if you look it up with a handheld dependant upon CDO - such as Blackberry or Goodlink)
