Office Hours in Irvine, CA on April 13th – Come ask questions and get Windows 8 installed

OfficeHours OfficeHours

It has been a little while since I’ve held Office Hours but I think this is now a very good time. I held an IT Camp event in our downtown Los Angeles office back in March and was bummed I couldn’t get an event scheduled for Irvine. For that reason, I decided to hold office hours in the Irvine area on April 13th from 9 AM – 4 PM at the ExecuTrain facility. In the past, I held office hours at a Starbucks since the parking is free. Since I need to be able to talk and setup machines, that does not work this time around. The folks at ExecuTrain were kind enough to offer me the use of their facilities without a charge and parking is free so this works out wonderfully – Thank you ExecuTrain!

For those of you who were not able to make it to the Los Angeles event and would still like to get your hands on the files I gave out, then please come by with a large external hard drive and you can copy them over. I can also walk you through the process of configuring your machine for Boot to VHD.

In addition, I will also have some bootable thumb drives with Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Windows Server “8” Beta for you to use to install these products onto your test machine (the thumb drives are not for you to keep – Smile).

Of course if you have other questions regarding other things or just want to chat with me, any topic is fair game as long as you can accept the fact that I may not be able to answer all your questions, but will always do my best.

Please pass the word along and I’ll see you there.
