Spaß mit Google Earth/Google Maps

Google setzt bei der Erstellung von 3D Modellen, bzw. dem Mapping von Fotos auf besagte Modelle auf die Community. Mit Hilfe von SketchUp können 3D Modelle erzeugt werden, auf Google Earth hochgeladen und anschließend freigegeben werden. Interessanterweise führt das immer wieder zu lustigen Ergebnissen ;-)

Sieht fast so aus als befände sich ein schwarzes Loch mitten im Zentrum von Seattle :-)

  I created a little google maps game. It is called placespotting and it is about finding places on earth... You get a satellite image and some hints and have to find the place on a google map. You can also create your own riddles and send them to your friends. Of course it's free and you need no registration.   good fun :-) Besides some tiles which so not show up on my map this game rocks :-) Did you also try this with Virtual Earth?   Daniel
