TNWiki Article Spotlight - Community Portals
Hello Community! Today is Tuesday, welcome to the our TNWiki Article Spotlight.
There are times when I need a solution to a problem and before ask, usually in the Forum, I see if there is something similar to what I need in our TechNet Wiki.
The search in TechNet Wiki is efficient, but I like to look at the Portals created by Community.
In these Portals we can find interesting articles, organized for every need (installing, configuring, troubleshooting, source code, ...) which help us to know the resources and solutions that we had not explored before.
I like to share some of these Portals that helped me find several great articles:
- Technologies Portal
(is very full in different Technologies and has links to other Portals) - Transact-SQL Portal
(I love SQL, then this portal is a reference to me) - Development Portal
(I started my career programming, is a little nostalgic for me. Very useful) - Governance and Guidelines Portal
(fundamental to every TechNet Wiki member: "If you want to play, learn the rules of the game") - Moderating Microsoft Forums Portal
(excellent guide not only to behavior in the Forums, but for many areas of the TechNet and MSDN) - Microsoft User Groups Portal
(wonderful initiative to bring people together on the same subject) - BizTalk Server Resources on the TechNet Wiki
(very complete, also grouped for content of version) - Training and Certification Portal
(we are here to learn and become better professionals. Some articles have valuable tips) - Troubleshooting Portal
(the name says what is your purpose) - Hyper-V Portal
(this portal is the start for many other contents) - Portal of TechNet Wiki Portals
(Not least, The Portal of Portals is where you can find links to several Portals that are part of TechNet Wiki)
Explore content that's of your interest. I'm sure that you will find lots of valuable information in the articles listed in these Portals.
If you have an article about subject pertaining to a these Portals, don't forget to add your link and help other members to find this content.
The Community Portals are great. See you soon here !

You're right Ed, the portal of portals is a special source of content. I believe this article deserves greater prominence in our Home TechNet Wiki. What do you think ? - Anonymous

This is very good on our the TechNet Wiki. We can add more information when we find little content in the Portals, so improve further our knowledge and provide the location of important information that cannot be found in search with many results. I agree, the Troubleshooting Portal can be shared on your levels of solution/problem content. The starting point is always adding links to interesting articles that help to everyone. All this work can be improved formatting the Portal, so that everyone has an enjoyable read - Anonymous
