2017 Year-End Update Changes

  1. No W-2 or W-3 Form changes

Installation Instructions

  1. It is recommended to have a working backup of the following items before applying any patch file:

    • a. DYNAMICS database

    • b. All Company databases

    • c. Reports.dic - export the reports through Customization Maintenance (Tools | Customize | Customization Maintenance)

    • d. Forms.dic - export the forms through Customization Maintenance (Tools | Customize | Customization Maintenance )

    • e. eConnect PRE and POST Procedures if customized.

  2. Download and review the documentation PDF below.

  3. The Tax Update is inclusive of all previous hotfixes, service packs, tax updates and year-end downloads.

11/19/2017 To install the 2017 Year-End update, you will need to be on 12.0.2104 or later MicrosoftDynamicsGP12-KB4046335-ENU.msp>**To install the 2017 US Year End update, you need to be on 12.00.2104 or later or 14.00.0983 or later. Once you install the 2017 US Year End update, you cannot upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 or Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016, until the 2017 Canadian Year-End Update is released, target release middle of Decembe 2017. 12.00.2198
