Saml2SecurityTokenHandler.CreateStatements Method

[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. Creates SAML 2.0 statements to be included in the assertion.

Parameters

• tokenDescriptor
  The token descriptor from which to create the statements.

Return Value

An enumeration of Saml2Statement that contains the statements.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
ArgumentNullException	tokenDescriptor is null.

Remarks

Statements are not required in a SAML 2.0 assertion. This method may return an empty collection.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
