kantharaj A Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A. Can you elaborate which rate limit you are referring to? Azure API Management limits are published here, and it is not possible to read it via Rest API or Python.

If you are referring to ARM based Rest API for APIM, then throttling limits for ARM are published here and as described in the doc, the remaining requests limits are returned in the response header values. Check out Remaining requests dc for more detailed info. In this scenario, you can call this rest API from your python code, and validate the limits.
