(Edit columns, Configure layout) is missing in Sharepoint online List recently

Recently the edit columns and configure layout section is missing in Sharepoint online List.

Did Microsoft push any product update to remove this section?

Hi @Shanmugam, Suresh,

Yes, it looks like there is an update here in "New item" window. But I can still see Edit columns and Configure layout as shown in the screenshot below.

Create a new list in your site or in other lists, could you see those options? Also, try changing a browser to access the site.

@AllenXu-MSFT There are 2 screenshots, i think you missed the actual wording.

1st screenshot was taken a weekago where i can see the Edit columns and Configure layout.

2nd Screenshot was taken yesterday, where the above option are missing and i only see copy link.

New list created today :

still no Edit columns and Configure layout options in list >> New Item link.

only see Copy link

We need to know if there is any update from Microsoft to remove this option from add a new item link?

This is a bug in SharePoint after updating.

I suggest you raise a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center. You will be informed in time when this bug is fixed.

Try to select an existing item from the list and then try to create a new item:

If I don't have any selected item:

It seems to be a bug after the new releases.
