Integrate your service with Microsoft products and services

Customers use a heterogenous mix of systems to drive their business forward. Pre-existing integrations between these systems help them derive more benefit from their investments, and Microsoft offers hundreds of connectors across different products and services that allow customers to use their data with various applications.

If you're an ISV who provides products and services, various options are available for you to build integration with Microsoft’s offerings. These integrations can improve the overall experiences of your customers by allowing them access to your service from within various Microsoft offerings.

Choose one of the scenarios listed below to understand how customers can benefit from your integration and how you can get started to build an integration.

Low and no-code solutions

With Microsoft Power Platform, customers can build mobile applications, web experiences, automation, and chatbot over your services. These solutions can range from citizen developer to professional developers working by themselves, or together in collaboration. To build these solutions, customers use one of 850+ certified connectors currently available out of the box. To allow customers to build their solutions on your service, you can easily create custom connectors and submit them for certification.

Data visualization, analytics, and reporting

With Power BI, customers can quickly find meaningful insights within their data that help make better business decisions or easily build rich and visual analytic reports and share them with others across the organization. To enable these scenarios with data in your service, you can create custom Power Query connectors.

Most of the organizations store content across several repositories. Microsoft Graph content connectors can integrate these remote and fragmented sources (such as file shares, ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure SQL, or third-party sources such as Box and IBM FileNet) into Microsoft Graph, making it searchable and usable throughout Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Search. Third-party data can be hosted on-premises or in the public or private clouds.

Connectors to more than 130 sources are available from Microsoft Graph currently, along with our partners. Here's how you can build your own Graph connector to your service.

Integrate applications using events

Azure Event Grid is a highly scalable, serverless event broker that customers can use to integrate applications using events. Events are delivered by Event Grid to subscriber destinations such as applications, Azure services, or any endpoint to which Event Grid has network access. The source of those events can be other applications, SaaS services and Azure services.

With Event Grid, customers connect solutions using event-driven architectures. An event-driven architecture uses events to communicate occurrences in system state changes, for example, to other applications or services. Customers can use filters to route specific events to different endpoints, multicast to multiple endpoints, and make sure their events are reliably delivered. You can Onboard as an Azure Event Grid partner using the Azure portal.
