Microsoft Search allows intelligent search against M365 content of multiple types from different workloads.

Microsoft Search provides intelligent and advanced enterprise search capabilities across nearly all entities in M365. This connector (currently in Preview) brings the power of Microsoft Search to find relevant content across datatypes and workloads to the Power Platform with the goal of enabling low-code / no-code users to write search-based automations and applications in a few minutes.

Prerequisites

The tenant requires a M365 license to be able to access workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, Teams.

How to get credentials

Authentication and authorization have been built-in already, so any user already logged-in to M365 will automatically be able to use this without any additional Auth related steps.

Get started with your connector

The Single-Entity Relevance Search Action allows searching across Files or People or Messages or External content. Each of those is considered an entity that is served by different content sources. Files is served by SharePoint, People by Exchange, Messages by both Exchange and Teams and so forth. The action in a Power Automate flow allows picking the entity type, content sources, fields to retrieve and number of results. It returns these as a tabular form that can be directly consumed without any schema transformations.

Known issues and limitations

This connector is in Preview.

Common errors and remedies

The response from the Action will have a traceid in Diagnostics. This traceid, along with request / response can be provided to Microsoft Search team to file a bug, troubleshooting.
